A fault has been detected with the coil temperature sensor. This could be due to a disconnected harness, a broken wire, an improperly attached sensor, a damaged sensor, or hardware damage to the outdoor unit (ODU) control.
Click steps to track your progress.
Ensure the sensor harness plug is securely connected to the ODU control board.
Check the sensor harness for continuity to detect any broken or loose wires.
Verify that the Coil Thermistor is properly clipped to the distributor entry-tube.
Check the sensor for damage; its resistance should be 10kOhm at 77°F; replace if faulty.
If all checks pass, the ODU control hardware may be damaged and require replacement.
