Fault 54 — Suction Temp Sensor Fault

What does 54 mean?

The Suction Temperature (OST) sensor is reporting a fault. This can be due to a disconnected, broken, or damaged sensor or wiring, or incorrect sensor placement.

Common Causes

  • Sensor harness not connected to ODU control
  • Broken or loose harness wire
  • Suction Thermistor not properly attached or in wrong location
  • Broken or damaged sensor
  • Hardware damage to ODU control

    Inspect the sensor harness wire for any breaks or loose connections.
