Solid Yellow ALERT LED — Short circuit or over-current on PROT terminal

What does ALERT LED solid Yellow mean?

This indicates a short circuit or an over-current condition on the PROT terminal. The load on this circuit should not exceed 1 Amp.

• Compressor contactor coil is shorted.
• Electrical load is too high for the PROT circuit (over 1 Amp).
• 24 VAC is wired directly to the PROT terminal.

   Turn off unit power supply and install a lockout tag.
