Alarm Electric anode is out of order — Red LED on anode board or voltage > 1V DC on terminals 45, 46

Bosch · Compress 7000 Heat Pumps

What does 5275 mean?

This alarm indicates a fault with the electric anode. This is shown by a red LED on the electrical anode board, or if voltage greater than 1 V DC is detected on terminals 45, 46 on the installer module for over 6 hours.

Common Causes

  • Loose connection/cable on terminal X2 or a fault with the electrical anode rod in the cylinder.
  • Green LED on electrical anode board is not turned on, indicating missing 230V or a broken board.
  • Defective installer module.
  • Defective electrical anode board.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check the connection/cable on terminal X2 and inspect the electrical anode rod inside the cylinder.

  2. 2

Verify that the LED on the electrical anode board is lit green. If it's red or off, proceed to the next step.

  3. 3

Ensure 230V is available on terminal X1 on the electrical anode board. If it is and the green LED is off, the board may be broken.

  4. 4

If voltage > 1V DC persists on terminals 45,46 even with a green LED, contact a qualified technician.
