Machine in standby or not taking water

What does The machine enters standby mode after the programme starts or it does not take in water. mean?

This can be due to the tap being off, a bent inlet hose, a clogged inlet filter, or the door being open.

• Tap is turned off
• Water inlet hose is bent
• Water inlet filter is clogged
• Loading door is open
• Water supply issue
