130 — Fumes NTC tripped due to overtemperature

What does 130 mean?

The fumes NTC sensor has detected an excessively high temperature in the flue system, causing a safety trip. This protects against dangerous conditions.

Common Causes

  • Insufficient circulation of water in the system
  • Presence of scale or blockages in the heat exchanger
  • Faulty fumes NTC probe

    Press and hold down the Reset button for 2 seconds to try clearing the fault.

    Ensure all radiator valves are fully open to allow proper water circulation throughout the heating system.

    Check the boiler pressure and top up if it's too low (refer to 'FILLING THE SYSTEM').

  4. 4

    If the fault persists, contact an Authorised Service Centre to check the heat exchanger and fumes NTC probe.
