Slow Drain — Obstructed drain path or faulty pump

What does Slow Drain mean?

Water is draining slowly from the dishwasher. This is usually caused by a blockage in the drain hose or pump, or a damaged drain pump impeller.

• Obstructed drain hose or path (e.g., clogged garbage disposal, stuck check valve)
• Drain pump impeller is fractured or stripped

   Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power.

   Check for blockages from the sump check valve to the customer's plumbing.

   Inspect the drain pump impeller for damage. If it is stripped or fractured, replace the drain pump.

   Clear any debris found in the drain hose, check valve, or pump impeller.
