The F8 fuse protects the wash motor. If it is open, the wash motor will not operate. This can be caused by a faulty motor or wiring.
Click steps to track your progress.
Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power.
Measure resistance of the F8 fuse. If resistance is greater than 3 ohms, the fuse is open.
Inspect the wash motor and its wiring for signs of damage or overheating.
If the fuse is open and the motor appears fine, replace the F8 fuse.
If the F8 fuse blows again, replace the wash motor.
