What does F1 Fuse mean?

The F1 fuse protects the small triac loads. If it is open, these loads may not work. You can check its resistance to see if it needs replacement.

  • Fuse F1 may be open
  • Overheating or pinched wires on loads protected by F1

    Unplug the dishwasher or disconnect power.

    Measure the resistance of fuse F1. A resistance greater than 3 Ohms indicates a faulty fuse.

    If fuse F1 is open, inspect and check the resistance of all loads on the fuse.

    Replace any loads or repair wires that are open, shorted, or show signs of overheating or pinched wires.

  5. 5

    Replace the control board if loads are okay and fuse is open.
