F.61 — Gas–valve control defective

What does F.61 mean?

There is a defect in the control of the gas valve. This could be due to a short circuit or earth (ground) leak in the wiring to the gas valves, a faulty gas valve assembly, or an issue with the electronic control system.

• Short circuit/earth leak in cable harness to gas valves.
• Gas valve assembly defective (earth/ground leak from coils).
• Electronic control system defective.

   Reset the boiler by pressing the reset button.

   Power off the boiler, wait a moment, then power it back on.
