Tesla · Gen 3 Wall Connector
Three red blinks indicate that the Wall Connector has detected high temperatures. Charging may be limited or disabled to protect the unit from overheating.
Click steps to track your progress.
Verify that the Wall Connector is connected to Wi-Fi to ensure it receives the latest firmware updates for optimal temperature sensing.
Check the Wall Connector faceplate and the charge cable handle for excessive warmth.
Have a qualified electrician remove the Wall Connector from the wirebox and verify the conductors used are sized correctly.
The electrician should also verify that the terminal block is torqued to specification.
If firmware does not automatically update, use the commissioning procedure (page 27) to sign into the commissioning wizard and manually update the firmware.
If the problem persists after these steps, contact Tesla Customer Support.
