39 fault codes documented
10 beeps every thirty seconds — Dishwasher door opened during cycle
If you open the Dishwasher door while a program is running, the appliance will beep ten times every thirty seconds. Be cautious when opening the door, as there is a risk of hot water squirting out.
Black or gray marks on dishes — Aluminum rubbing
Dark marks on dishes are often caused by aluminum utensils or cookware rubbing against other items during the wash cycle, leaving metallic scuffs.
Buzzer sounds for 8 seconds — Wash cycle finished
The Dishwasher's buzzer will sound for 8 seconds to indicate that the wash cycle has successfully completed. This is a normal operation signal.
Buzzer one short warning signal — Program reset successful
When you hold the programme selector button 'B' for at least 3 seconds to cancel or modify a washing program, the buzzer emits one short warning signal. This indicates that the previous programming has been reset.
Buzzer sounds for 8 seconds — End of wash cycle
When the wash cycle has finished, the Dishwasher's buzzer will sound for 8 seconds, then stop. The program light will be on but not blinking, indicating the program has ended.
Cloudiness on glassware — Soft water and too much detergent
Glassware may appear cloudy if a combination of soft water and too much detergent is used. This can leave a film on the dishes.
Detergent left in dispenser cups — Blocked dispenser or improper loading
If detergent remains in the dispenser cups after a cycle, it typically means the dispenser was blocked or the spray arms could not reach it.
Dishes are not drying — Too little rinse-aid or early removal
Dishes may not dry properly if there is insufficient rinse-aid, if they are removed too soon from the Dishwasher, or if a less effective program was chosen.
Dishwasher doesn't start — Power or door issue
If the Dishwasher doesn't start, it could be due to a lack of power supply, the door not being securely closed, or issues with the water connection.
E1 — Longer inlet time, water intake issue
This error code indicates that the Dishwasher is taking too long to fill with water. This can happen if the water faucet isn't fully open, the water supply is restricted, or the water pressure is too low.
E3 — Not reaching setting temperature
The Dishwasher is unable to reach the required wash cycle temperature. This suggests a problem with the heating element responsible for warming the water inside the appliance.
E4 — Water leakage detected (Overflow)
This error code means that the Dishwasher has detected a water leak, causing an overflow condition in the base pan. For safety, the appliance will stop operating.
E8 — Circuit open or broken distributary valve
This error indicates a problem with the Dishwasher's distributary valve circuit. The valve is responsible for directing water to different spray arms during the wash cycle.
E9 — Button pressed for too long
This error occurs when a button on the control panel is continuously pressed for more than 30 seconds. This can be due to water or an object on the button.
ED — Communication failure between control boards
This error code signifies a communication issue between the main control board (PCB) and the display control board. This can prevent the Dishwasher from operating correctly.
Floor light flashing — Wash program ended
The floor light will flash for 1 second intervals when a washing program is ended. It will automatically turn off after 5 minutes or if any button is pressed or the door is opened.
Knocking noise in the wash cabinet — Spray arm obstruction
A knocking sound is heard coming from inside the wash cabinet during operation. This is typically caused by a spray arm hitting items that are improperly loaded in the Dishwasher baskets.
Knocking noise in the water pipes — Water supply pipe resonance
A knocking sound can be heard from the water pipes connected to the Dishwasher, often referred to as water hammer. This noise is typically related to the plumbing installation rather than a fault with the Dishwasher itself and does not affect its function.
Knocking noise in the wash cabinet — Spray arm obstruction
A knocking noise inside the wash cabinet is usually caused by a spray arm hitting an item in a basket or items of crockery being loose.
No salt warning light (on some models) — Estimate salt refill
For models without a salt warning light, you need to estimate when to refill the regeneration salt based on the number of cycles the Dishwasher has run.
Overflow — Water in the base pan
Water has collected in the base pan of the Dishwasher due to an overfill or a small leak, triggering a safety mechanism. This requires immediate attention before restarting the appliance.
Program light solid (not blinking) — Wash cycle finished
A solid (non-blinking) program light indicates that the Dishwasher has successfully completed its wash cycle and is ready to be unloaded. This is a normal operation status.
Program light stops blinking, buzzer mooing — Door opened mid-cycle
If you open the Dishwasher door during a wash cycle, the program light will stop blinking and the buzzer will sound every minute. This indicates the machine is paused.
Program light stops blinking, buzzer 'mooing' every minute — Dishwasher paused (door open)
If the Dishwasher door is opened during an active wash cycle, the machine will pause. The program light will stop blinking, and a 'mooing' sound will be heard every minute until the door is closed again.
Rattling noise in the wash cabinet — Loose crockery
A rattling sound is heard from inside the wash cabinet during a cycle. This usually means that items of crockery or dishes are loosely placed and moving around within the baskets.
Rattling noise in the wash cabinet — Loose items
A rattling noise often means that items of crockery or the lid of the softener are loose inside the wash cabinet, allowing them to move and vibrate during the cycle.
Rinse-aid warning indicator lights up — Rinse aid level low
If the rinse-aid warning indicator lights up on the control panel, it means the rinse aid dispenser needs to be refilled to ensure proper drying and prevent spots on dishes.
Rust stains on cutlery — Non-corrosion resistant items
Rust stains on cutlery indicate that the affected items are not made of corrosion-resistant material and are not suitable for washing in a Dishwasher.
Single beep — Program started automatically
After selecting a program and closing the door, the Dishwasher will beep once, and the program indicator 'A' will light up. This confirms that the selected wash cycle has started.
Six beeps — Wash cycle has finished
The Dishwasher will emit six beeps to signal that the current wash program has successfully completed. This indicates it is safe to open the door and unload your dishes.
Stained tub interior — Detergent with colorant
If the interior of the Dishwasher tub becomes stained, it is likely due to using a detergent that contains colorants which can transfer and build up over time.
Suds in the tub — Too much or wrong detergent
Excessive suds or foam in the Dishwasher tub usually indicates that the wrong type of detergent was used or too much detergent was dispensed.
Suds in the tub — Excessive foam during wash
Excessive suds or foam are present inside the Dishwasher tub during or after a wash cycle. This often indicates incorrect detergent use or spilled rinse-aid.
Unsatisfactory drying result — Dishes not drying properly
Dishes remain wet or are not drying completely after the wash cycle. This can be caused by insufficient rinse-aid, removing dishes too soon, or using a program with lower drying performance.
Unsatisfactory washing result — Loading, detergent, or filter issue
If dishes are not coming out clean, several factors could be at play, including incorrect loading, insufficient detergent, or a clogged filter/spray arms.
Water not Pumpd from Dishwasher — Dishwasher not draining
After a wash cycle, water remains in the bottom of the Dishwasher and is not being Pumpd out. This usually indicates a blockage somewhere in the drain system or a problem with the pump.
Water not Pumpd from Dishwasher — Drainage issue
If water remains in the Dishwasher after a cycle, it indicates a problem with the drainage system. This could be a hose blockage or a clogged filter.
White film on inside surface — Mineral deposits or salt residue
A white film or residue appears on the inside surfaces of the Dishwasher. This often indicates the presence of hard water minerals or traces of Dishwasher salt that have entered the wash cycle.
White film on inside surface — Hard water minerals or salt residue
A white film inside the Dishwasher can be caused by hard water minerals or, if salt was recently added, traces of salt getting into the wash cycle.
