AC Voltage Too High (Line 1/2/3) — Grid voltage is above the limit

SolarEdge · Inverters

What does 31, 33 mean?

The AC voltage from the grid is higher than the country's allowed limit. This can damage the inverter and other connected appliances.

Common Causes

  • High grid voltage
  • Incorrect country setting in the inverter
  • AC wiring too thin for the distance
  • Grid operator issues

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Verify that the inverter is set to the correct country.

  2. 2

Turn off the inverter and check the AC grid voltage.

  3. 3

If the inverter is far from the grid connection point, consider using a larger gauge AC wire.

  4. 4

    Consult your grid operator.

  5. 5

If regulations allow, use the SolarEdge Configuration Tool to adjust settings.
