SolarEdge · Inverters
A general internal hardware component within the inverter has failed. This requires professional diagnosis.
Click steps to track your progress.
Turn off the AC circuit breaker for your solar system (usually located near your main electrical panel or the inverter itself). Wait 5 minutes, then turn it back on.
Check all visible cables connected to your inverter. Make sure they are securely plugged in and look for any signs of damage or loose connections.
Look at your home's main electrical panel. Find the circuit breakers labeled for your solar system and ensure they are all in the 'on' position. If any are tripped (usually halfway between on and off), turn them completely off, then firmly back on.
Open your SolarEdge monitoring app to see if there are any additional details about the error. Also, observe the color and pattern of any indicator lights on the inverter, as this information can be useful.
If the 'Hardware Error' persists after trying these steps, it indicates a problem requiring expert attention. Please contact your solar installer or a certified SolarEdge service professional for diagnosis and repair.
