SolarEdge · Inverters
An internal hardware error is preventing the RCD sensor from functioning correctly. This sensor monitors for ground faults.
Click steps to track your progress.
Power Cycle: Turn off your inverter's AC disconnect switch and the main breaker for your solar system. Wait 5 minutes, then turn them back on.
Cable Check: Visually inspect all external cables connected to the inverter. Ensure they are securely plugged in and show no signs of damage.
App & LED Status: Check your SolarEdge monitoring app for any updated error messages. Also, consult your inverter's manual to understand what its indicator lights are showing.
Breaker Check: Ensure all AC and DC breakers associated with your solar system (typically near your main electrical panel or inverter) are in the 'ON' position.
Contact Professional: If the 'Ground Current – RCD — Internal hardware error' persists after trying these steps, please contact your original installer or SolarEdge support for professional assistance.
