Event 8003 — Active power limited derating

What does 8003 mean?

The inverter has reduced its power output for more than ten minutes due to excessive internal temperature.

Common Causes

  • Insufficient ventilation around the inverter
  • Blocked cooling fins or air ducts
  • High ambient temperature exceeding +40°C
  • Inverter exposed to direct solar radiation

    Gently clean the cooling fins on the rear of the inverter and the air ducts on top using a soft brush.

    Ensure that there is adequate clear space around the inverter for proper airflow and ventilation.

    Ensure the inverter is not exposed to direct sunlight, especially during peak temperature times.
