Reference point approach fault: PPU position values don't change, axis doesn't move

What does Reference point Case 1 mean?

When attempting to approach the reference point and pressing the desired axis traversing key, the position values displayed on the PPU do not change and the axis does not move.

Common Causes

  • Existing alarm on the PPU screen preventing movement
  • Machine data is lost (indicated by alarms 004060, 004062, 004065)

    Check if there is an alarm on the PPU screen. If so, eliminate the alarm via the designated key before proceeding.

    If alarms 004060, 004062, or 004065 appear, it indicates machine data is lost. Restore the backup data.

  3. 3

    After restoring data, restart the system after power-off to check whether the fault has been eliminated.
