What does Overload mean?

The axis cannot move or moves with difficulty because of an overload condition. The drive may also issue an overload alarm.

Common Causes

  • Insufficient guide lubrication (blocked pipe/nozzle, improper interval time)
  • Guides/screws are blocked by machining waste
  • Connection of the shaft coupling is not smooth and concentric

    Check whether the guide lubrication is sufficient, ensuring that the lubricating pipe/nozzle is not blocked and the lubrication interval time is set properly (not too long).

    Check whether the connection of the shaft coupling is smooth and concentric.
