What does Alarm 8066 mean?

This alarm is issued if a date equal to or later than the lock date is set, or if a future date earlier than the lock date is set. Consequences vary based on whether an NC restart has been performed.

    If no NC restart has been performed, immediately correct the date on the HMI to the actual current date.

  2. 2

    If an NC restart has occurred after setting a date equal to or later than the lock date, alarm 8064 will be issued; contact the machine manufacturer/dealer for CNC lock deactivation/reactivation.

  3. 3

    If an NC restart has occurred after setting a future date earlier than the lock date, the service life until the lock date is reduced; contact the machine manufacturer/dealer for CNC lock deactivation/reactivation.

  4. 4

    Always ensure the system date is accurate and not manipulated.
