No signal — No network connection shown

What does No signal mean?

The 'No signal' icon appears on the status bar when the device cannot connect to a cellular network. This means you cannot make calls or use mobile data.

• Device is outside of a service area.
• Airplane mode is enabled.
• SIM card is not inserted correctly.
