What does Software update failure mean?

A software update was interrupted due to an error. This can cause the device to stop working correctly. A factory data reset may be needed for recovery.

   Backup all important data on your device.

   Disconnect your device from the computer.

   Launch Smart Switch on the computer.

   Click 'Emergency Software Recovery and Reset'.

   Select the device that had the error and click 'Device reset' then 'OK'.

   The device will perform a factory data reset.
