This error indicates a problem with the EVI (Enhanced Vapor Injection) Electronic Expansion Valve (EEV), specifically leakage, an internal intercooler leak, or an incorrectly inserted EVI EEV connector. These issues affect system efficiency and performance.
Click steps to track your progress.
Turn off the outdoor unit at the circuit breaker.
Inspect the EVI (ESC) EEV connector for proper and secure insertion. Reseat it firmly.
Check for any visible signs of refrigerant leakage (e.g., oily residue) around the EVI (ESC) EEV or intercooler.
Power cycle the unit after checking connections.
Due to the complexity of refrigerant systems, a qualified HVAC technician is required to diagnose and repair internal leaks or replace faulty EEV components.
