The evaporator inlet (EVA IN) temperature sensor in the indoor unit has an electrical issue, such as a short circuit or an open connection. This affects the unit's ability to monitor refrigerant conditions.
Click steps to track your progress.
Shut off power to the indoor unit from its dedicated circuit breaker.
Locate the EVA IN sensor and inspect its wiring for damage or loose contacts.
Ensure the sensor's connector is securely attached to the circuit board.
Check for any signs of corrosion on the sensor terminals.
Restore power and observe if the error clears. If not, a technician should test or replace the sensor.
