A006 - Suction temperature too low

What does A006 mean?

The suction temperature is too low, causing the compressor to shut down. The unit is relying on electric elements for heating. This could be due to a compressor malfunction.

• Faulty temperature sensor

   Check all wiring and sensor connections.

   Measure the resistance of the thermistors using a multimeter and compare to the Ohm chart.

   Check sensor readings on the display under Service > Sensors. Look for -40°F (open circuit) or +250°F (shorted circuit).
