What does 2 beeps every minute mean?

The base unit beeps twice every minute to alert you that new messages have been recorded. This alert will continue until you listen to the messages.

• The 'Base unit beep' setting for new message alerts has been turned on.

   Listen to the new messages to stop the beeping.

   Turn off the 'Base unit beep' setting for new message alerts via the handset menu (MENU #339).

   Ensure the 'New message alert' setting is turned off if you do not wish to be alerted.
