Low room temperature

Low room temperature — Check heating settings and room thermostats

Nibe · SHB 20

What does Low room temperature mean?

If the room temperature is consistently low, it may be due to incorrect heating control settings, thermostats being turned down, or issues with the heating curve.

Common Causes

  • Closed thermostats in several rooms
  • Control module in incorrect operating mode
  • Low set value on automatic heating control
  • Heating curve requires adjustment

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Set thermostats to the maximum in as many rooms as possible.

  2. 2

Adjust the room temperature via menu 1.1 ('temperature') instead of relying solely on thermostats.

  3. 3

Check the operating mode in menu 4.2. If set to 'auto', select a higher value for 'stop heating' in menu 4.9.2. If set to 'manual', select 'heating' or 'addition'.

  4. 4

Adjust the offset heating curve upwards in menu 1.1 ('temperature').

  5. 5

If the room temperature is only low in cold weather, adjust the heating curve slope upwards in menu 1.9.1.
