What does 5115 (1204) mean?

This error points to an issue with the temperature sensor (TH15) located at the bottom of the compressor shell. The sensor might be short-circuited or open, leading to inaccurate temperature readings for the compressor.

• Pinched or damaged lead wire for the TH15 thermistor.
• Loose or disconnected connector for TH15.
• Short detection (TH15 reading 110°C [230°F] or above).
• Open detection (TH15 reading -40°C [-40°F] or below).
• Control board malfunction if sensor readings are far from actual temperature.
