When the dishwasher door is opened halfway and released, it falls downwards instead of staying in position. This indicates that the tension on the door springs is too loose.

    Open the dishwasher door halfway.

    Locate the adjustment screw behind the door in the upper front strip, on the left side.

    Turn the screw clockwise using a T20 Torx or small slotted screwdriver to increase tension.

  4. 4

    Test the door after a few turns; repeat until it stays in position when released halfway.

  5. 5

    Do not use a power screwdriver for adjustment.
