E31 - Duplicate indoor unit address or outdoor unit address setting error

What does E31 mean?

This error occurs when an indoor unit has a duplicated address number (U00-U47) or there is an error in the outdoor unit's address setting.

• Two or more indoor units have the same address assigned in a multi-split system.
• The outdoor unit's address is set incorrectly.
• Conflict in address settings.
