Makita · Power Tool Manual
The mower will not start if the battery selection switch is not set correctly.
Click steps to track your progress.
Make sure the battery selection switch is firmly set to the correct battery slot or 'ON' position. Double-check that it clicks into place.
Remove the battery, ensure it's fully charged, then reinsert it firmly until you hear a click.
Confirm all safety features, like the safety key or handle bar, are correctly engaged. Make sure there are no obstructions around the blade.
If you have another charged battery, try using it to see if the mower starts. This helps determine if the issue is with the battery or the mower.
If the mower still doesn't start after trying these steps, please contact Makita customer support for further assistance.
