What does Caution lamp solid red mean?

The tool automatically stops and the caution lamp lights up solid red when the tool or battery cartridge becomes overheated. The speed indicator and ADT indicator will go off.

Common Causes

  • Tool has been operated continuously for too long.
  • Battery cartridge is overheated from heavy use or high ambient temperature.

    Turn off the tool and remove the battery cartridge.

    Allow the tool and/or battery cartridge to cool down completely.

    Once cooled, reinsert the battery and turn the tool on again.
