Microwave oven will not operate

What does Will not operate mean?

The microwave oven is not turning on or responding to commands. This can be due to power issues, the door not being fully closed, or incorrect control settings.

• Blown household fuse or tripped circuit breaker
• Magnetron issue
• Door not firmly closed or a packaging spacer is present
• Control Lock is on or Demo Mode is active
• Control settings are improper

   Check your household fuse or circuit breaker and reset if tripped.

   Ensure the microwave door is firmly closed and any packaging spacers are removed.

   Make sure Control Lock is off by holding the Cancel control for 3 seconds.

   Verify Demo Mode is deactivated through the Options or Setup menu.

   Try to heat 1 cup (250 mL) of cold water for 2 minutes at 100% power to test the magnetron.
