What does Odors mean?

Unpleasant odors can develop in the dishwasher, especially if it is not used daily or if water is not draining properly. Accumulated food particles can also contribute to smells.

    Run a rinse cycle with a partial load if the dishwasher is not used daily, or use the Top Rack Only option for partial loads.

  2. 2

    Run a vinegar rinse: place 2 cups (500 mL) of white vinegar in an upright glass measuring cup in the lower rack and run a normal cycle with ProDry™ off (do not use detergent).

  3. 3

    Check the 'Water Remains In The Tub/Will Not Drain' section for drainage issues.
