What does Chime option selected mean?

If the 'Chime' option was selected, an audible signal will sound when the wash cycle is finished. The volume of this chime can be adjusted or turned off.

• The 'Chime' option was activated during cycle setup.
• User preference for an audible end-of-cycle notification.
