EA — No ionization current

What does EA mean?

The boiler is not detecting any ionization current, which means there is no flame present or the flame detection system is not working. This will prevent the boiler from igniting or operating.

• The gas tap is closed or there is an interruption in the gas supply.
• Insufficient gas connection pressure to light the burner.
• The ignition electrode with its cable is faulty or incorrectly positioned.
• The ionization electrode with its cable is faulty or incorrectly positioned.
