Outside — Mower is outside the working area or detects a boundary issue

What does Outside mean?

This fault message indicates that the Automower has detected an issue with the boundary wire or has gone outside the designated working area. This can happen if the boundary wire is incorrectly installed, too close to an edge, or if there's interference.

• Boundary wire connections to the charging station are crossed.
• Boundary wire is too close to the edge of the working area or a downward slope is too large.
• Mower is near a neighboring installation and loses its own loop signal.
• Interference from metallic objects or buried cables near the boundary wire.
• Boundary wire routed incorrectly around an island.

   Check if the mower is inside or outside the installation area when the problem occurs.

   If connections are crossed, swap the boundary wire connections at the charging station/loop generator.

   Verify the boundary wire routing according to installation instructions, especially around islands and edges.

   If interference is suspected, try moving the boundary wire in the affected isolated areas.

   Equip the mower with wheel brushes for better grip if it skids on slopes and moves outside the boundary.
