No remote boundary wire follow

No remote boundary wire follow — Mower starts mowing instead of following boundary wire to remote area

husqvarna · Automower Technical Manual

What does No remote boundary wire follow mean?

The Automower fails to detect the loop signal strength after reversing out of the charging station, causing it to start mowing immediately instead of following the boundary wire to a remote area.

Common Causes

  • Automower does not find the strength on the loop signal that the set corridor width corresponds to.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Try a different corridor width; a greater corridor width usually improves the function.

  2. 2

Check the loop signal strength and compare with Table 8 and Table 9 in the manual.

  3. 3

    Adjust the mower's reversing distance.

  4. 4

Inspect the boundary wire for any breaks or interference that might weaken the signal.
