What does C4 mean?

The Dishwasher has detected an overfill condition, or the flood switch circuit is open, indicating too much water has entered the tub.

Common Causes

  • Double fill after a power failure (PF)
  • Float switch cover dislodged
  • Water inlet valve stuck open

    1. If this occurred after a power failure, press 'Start' and then 'Cancel' to reset the Dishwasher.

    2. Open the Dishwasher and check if the float switch cover inside the tub is properly seated. Reseat it if it's dislodged.

    3. Close the Dishwasher door and attempt to start a new cycle.

    4. If the C4 display persists, contact service.
