What does Power failure mean?

If a power failure occurs while the Hoover Pro Wash Dry Series 5 Washer Dryer is operating, the current programme and settings are saved. However, the door will be mechanically blocked for safety reasons until certain conditions are met.

    Wait for power supply to be restored; the operation will automatically resume.

    If water is visible in the porthole, lower the water level as described in the 'Pump filter' section before attempting to open the door.

  3. 3

    Once the machine is in a safe state (low water level, barrel temperature below 55°C, inner barrel not turning), pull lever (A) beneath the service flap to unlock the door.
