What does OF mean?

The Refrigerator is in Demo Mode, also known as Cooling Off Mode, which is for store displays. In this mode, the Refrigerator appears to be working, but it will not produce any cool air. The control panel will show "OF".

Common Causes

  • The Refrigerator has been accidentally or intentionally set into a display mode that disables cooling.
  • It may have been switched to Cooling Off Mode during transport or initial setup.

    Press and hold the "Alarm" and "Holiday" keys simultaneously for 3 seconds.

    Listen for a long buzzer sound to confirm the mode has been canceled.

    Check if the "OF" indicator on the control panel has disappeared, indicating normal cooling operation has resumed.

  4. 4

    Allow several hours for the Refrigerator to reach its set temperature after canceling the mode.
