Error Code 6 — Unreliable power input

What does 6 mean?

The operating voltage supplied to the unit is either too high or too low. This can cause inefficient operation or damage.

  • Improper wire size for power supply
  • Poor electrical connections

    Check the line voltage supplied to the outdoor unit. It should be between 197VAC (running) and 253VAC.

  2. 2

    Ensure the wire size for the power supply is correct.

  3. 3

    Check for good connections in the supply voltage circuit.

  4. 4

    If line voltage from the power company is correct, check the output voltage of the Power Filter.

  5. 5

    Contact the power company if voltage is consistently outside operating limits.
