Alarm 72 — Internal fault, pump stops and tries to restart

What does Alarm 72 mean?

The pump has detected an internal fault, causing it to stop operation and display a red light. It will automatically attempt to restart. This can be caused by unusual flow patterns or power issues.

• Turbine flow in the application, forcing flow through the pump.
• Irregularities or instability in the voltage supply to the pump.
• An internal component malfunction.
