Warning 93 — External sensor fault

What does 93 mean?

The pump is receiving a signal from an external sensor that falls outside its normal operating range. This is a warning and does not activate the alarm relay.

• Mismatch between the electrical signal set (e.g., 0-10 V or 4-20 mA) and the sensor's actual output signal.
• Damaged sensor cable or incorrect cable connection at the pump or sensor.
• External sensor has been removed, but the analog input has not been disabled in settings.
• Faulty external sensor.

   Verify that the electrical signal setting for the analog input on the pump matches the output signal of the external sensor (e.g., 0-10V or 4-20mA). Adjust settings if necessary (see section 8.6.7 'Analog Input', page 32).

   Check the external sensor cable for any visible damage along its length.

   Inspect the cable connections at both the pump and the external sensor to ensure they are secure and correct.

   If the external sensor has been removed, ensure the analog input function has been disabled in the pump's settings.

   If the warning persists after these checks, contact Grundfos Service; the sensor may need replacement.
