Error E23 / E23.1 - Door cannot be unlocked

What does E23 / E23.1 mean?

The Washing Machine door is closed and locked, but the unlocking mechanism is failing, preventing access to the drum.

• Electrical problem with the lock

   Turn off the Washing Machine, then turn it back on.

   If the door remains locked, check the manual for instructions on how to manually open the Washing Machine door (see chapter 'STEP 7: Start the wash').
