What does Washer Won't Operate mean?

The washer is not starting its cycle. This can be due to several simple issues that can be resolved by the user.

    Make sure the power cord is plugged securely into a working outlet.

    Turn both hot and cold taps fully on.

    Check controls and make sure the Cycle knob is pulled out to the 'on' position.

  4. 4

    Close the lid and pull the Cycle knob out to the 'on' position.

  5. 5

    Check house circuit breakers/fuses. Replace fuses or reset the breaker. The washer should have a separate outlet.
