• Mechanical binding of the dispenser lid
• Excess detergent in the dispenser mechanism
• Dispenser electrical problem

   Ensure no items in the lower rack are blocking the dispenser lid.

   Instruct the customer on proper dish loading to avoid blocking the dispenser.

   Unplug the dishwasher or disconnect power and check for mechanical binding of the dispenser lid.

   Check/replace the dispenser if it is binding.

   Instruct the customer on proper dispenser filling to avoid excess detergent.
