E474, E500 — IPM temperature sensor error or IPM overheat

¿Qué significa E474, E500 ?

These errors indicate either a problem with the temperature sensor for the Inverter Power Module (IPM) or Power Factor Correction Module (PFCM), or that the IPM itself is overheating in the outdoor unit's inverter compressor.

• IPM not correctly assembled on the heatproof plate.
• Blocked inlet preventing proper cooling.
• Defective IPM module.

   Turn off the power to the air conditioner and ensure the outdoor unit's air inlets are not blocked by debris, leaves, or other obstructions.

   Ensure the outdoor unit has proper airflow around it.

   If the error persists after checking airflow, a qualified technician needs to verify if the IPM is correctly assembled on the heatproof plate.

   The IPM module may need to be replaced if a defect is found.
