Error Code 88 - Maintenance required before clearing

¿Qué significa 88 ?

This code indicates that maintenance, such as flushing the heat exchanger or replacing a filter, is recommended before the error can be cleared. The water heater will not operate normally until this maintenance is performed and the code is reset.

• Heat exchanger requires flushing
• Water treatment filter needs replacement (if applicable)

   Perform recommended maintenance activities (flushing, filter replacement).

   Turn on the remote control.

   Turn off the gas and water supply to the water heater.

   Press the DOWN adjustment button until the lowest temperature is displayed.

   Press and hold both the DOWN and UP adjustment buttons for 5 to 10 seconds.

6. 6

   Turn the gas and water supply back on.
