A single red flash from the operation indicator lamp usually points to a problem with the indoor fan motor. This could be a short or open circuit within the motor.

• Short circuit in the indoor fan motor.
• Open circuit in the indoor fan motor.

   Turn off the power supply to the unit.

   Disconnect the indoor fan motor connector (CN211) from the control board.

   Measure the resistance of the indoor fan motor using a tester.
