If the machine consistently fails to quickly stop the mower blades after releasing the switch lever, there may be an issue with the electric brake.

   Unplug the machine from its power source, wait 10 seconds, and then plug it back in securely.

   Examine the entire power cord for any visible damage, cuts, or loose connections at both the tool and the wall outlet.

   Verify the wall outlet is working by plugging in another device. Also, check your home's circuit breaker to ensure it hasn't tripped.
